Appointed Positions
PUBLIC NOTICE DECEMBER APPOINTMENTS
The Johnston County Board of Commissioners will be making the following appointments in December, 2009: Johnston County Criminal Justice Partnership Advisory Board – 14 positions; 2 year term (Applicants must represent one of the following areas: At-Large members including persons who are recovering from chemical dependency or are previous consumers of substance abuse treatment services, Chief of City/Town Police, Community Based Corrections Program, Criminal Defense Attorney, District Court Judge, Employment & Training, Member of Business Community, Mental Health, Probation Officer, Public Health, Public Defender, Substance Abuse, Member of the Community who has been a Victim of Crime, Victim Services Program.)
Nursing Home/Adult Care Home Community Advisory Board – 4 positions; 1 year initial term for new appointees or 3 year term for reappointed members. “No person or immediate family member of a person with a financial interest in a home served by a committee, or an employee or governing board member of a home served by a committee, or immediate family member of a patient in a home served by a committee may be a member of a committee.” Research and Training Zone Advisory Committee - 2 positions; 3 year term (Applicants must be persons capable of representing the interest of the associations of owners and tenants established within the district) Voluntary Agricultural District Advisory Board – 1 position to fill an unexpired term ending 06/30/2011 (Applicants shall have special interest, experience, or education in agriculture and/or land preservation)
