Thanksgiving Safety

TTake breaks and rotate drivers during long trips.  Remember, all that turkey will make you tired on the way home.

U - Use a tire gauge to test tire pressures before traveling. Refer to the suggested PSI rating for your vehicle and tires.

R - Replenish your fuel tank BEFORE traveling long distances.  Before you fill your belly, fill your car.

K - Keep an emergency preparedness kit and supplies in your trunk.  Store valuables out of sight in the trunk, as well.

E - Eliminate distractions while driving.  Eating and socializing should happen at the table, not behind the wheel.

Y - You are the best gift you can give your family this holiday season.  Give them something to be thankful for on Thursday.
