Become a Friends Board Member Open House - Friends of Johnston County Parks
As we look to 2025 and beyond, the Friends of Johnston County Parks is seeking more board members to help us advocate for parks, open space, the arts, and recreational opportunities on behalf of all Johnston County citizens and visitors. 
We are seeking volunteers from across Johnston County who are representative of our county’s demographics. 
We are also seeking volunteers with the following skill sets:
accounting/CPA background 
legal/risk management background 
fundraising/grant writing experience 
website design 
accounting/CPA background legal/risk management background fundraising/grant writing experience website design We are hosting an open house event on Thursday, November 21st at 6:00PM at the Johnston County Visitors Bureau offices. Mingle with current board members, learn about parks and open spaces efforts in JoCo, and enjoy refreshments.
